The Husker Civic Challenge powered by GivePulse is a web based platform that allows you to find service opportunities across the Lincoln community and within the university. After signing onto unl.givepulse.com and registering an event, students can record the impact they made at the event and contribute their service to the Husker Civic Challenge! Below are the steps for signing on to givepulse and finding service opportunities.
1. visit unl.givepulse.com
2. click "log in" at the top right of the website. Your canvas account is already logged into the system, so simply use your canvas login credentials
3. Click the 150 symbol in the top left corner
4. You can now sign up to register for events. Scroll down and click on the events tab. Search for the event that interests you
5. click the green register button on the right
6. follow the instructions to register, and you'll be signed up for your first givepulse service event!
7. After you serve, go back to the event you signed up for on givepulse and click on the add impact button. It should be next to where you registered.
8. Add your impact and discuss how you felt about serving at the event. You've now contributed your service to the 1.5 million hours of the Husker Civic Challenge!
