Please join UNL (Art History) Alumnus Ted Hunter for a presentation about conservation and collection care at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Mr. Hunter is the Armorer and Conservator in the Department of Arms and Armor. His talk will look at the role of a conservator in museums and specifically the preservation of the Met’s famous collection of arms and armor from around the world, from the policies of the past to the aspirations of the future. His talk will be followed by Q&A.
