Please join the College of Engineering in support of Glow Big Red – 24 Hours of Husker Giving, from noon on Thursday, Feb. 13 to noon on Friday, Feb. 14. Stop by a giving station on the first floor of Nebraska Hall from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday to join in the celebration and pick up gifts, popcorn and cookies.
Glow Big Red is a fundraiser to support the University of Nebraska Foundation. Last year’s first Glow Big Red event raised nearly $165,000 as more than 1,500 alumni, friends and fans came together to support Nebraska.
This year’s “goal is 1,869 donors (or more) in recognition of the year (1869) the University of Nebraska was founded. To help the foundation reach their goal, the College of Engineering is hosting a giving station on the first floor of Nebraska Hall from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13. (If you don’t have time, you can submit a gift online at glowbigred.unl.edu).
Those contributing $60 or more will receive a one-of-a-kind Glow Big Red stocking hat. Other gifts, like Glow Big Red buttons, popcorn and cookies, will also be available at the giving station.
Whether you can donate on Feb. 13 or not, you can still show your support for Nebraska and Glow Big Red by wearing red, flying your Husker flag or wearing your favorite Husker gear during the 24 Hours of Husker Giving.
