Nelson elected senior member of National Academy of Inventors

Carl Nelson, professor of mechanical and materials engineering, has been elected a senior member of the National Academy of Inventors. His work in biomedical applications of robotics and mechanical systems has resulted in 12 patents in surgical robotics and rehabilitation engineering.
