Donna Riley will present, "Marginalia," on Thursday, March 24 as the next Distinguished Speaker in the College of Engineering Seminar Series.

Donna Riley, Kamyar Haghighi Head of the School of Engineering Education and Professor of Engineering Education at Purdue University, will be the next Distinguished Speaker in the College of Engineering Seminar Series, Thursday, March 24.

The Seminar Series is sponsored by the College of Engineering Council on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Riley will deliver a seminar via Zoom from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and then be available for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion discussion from 1-2 p.m.

In the presentation, “Marginalia,” Riley reflects on “the condition of marginality for women in engineering and its occasional affordances of creative insight, liberatory risk, and daring community, despite incalculable inequity.”
