Work-Life Balance Workshop set for May 2

The COE Staff Council is pleased to announce an upcoming professional development opportunity for staff:

Work-Life Balance Workshop + Lunch with College Leadership
Monday, May 2 – noon-2 p.m. (Nebraska Hall 133)


Please join us for this professional development workshop (noon-1 p.m.) and lunch with college leadership (1-2 p.m.). The workshop on work-life balance (description below) will be presented by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Employee Assistance Program Director Kyla Gorji. Staff traveling from Omaha are encouraged to take the 10:30 a.m. shuttle from PKI and the 2:30 p.m. shuttle from Othmer Hall.

Learning to set boundaries to achieve work-life balance can be difficult. Components of time management, leisure management, purposeful behavior, and the exploration of personal priorities is helpful in adjusting your work-life balance and will be the focus of this session.
