DARPA Young Faculty Award supports Jin's work to develop self-healing concrete

Congrui “Grace” Jin has been awarded a DARPA Young Faculty Award that will for up to three years and $1 million support her research into the use of microorganisms to develop a self-healing concrete that could have far-reaching applications in building, bridge construction, and many other fields.
