Thursday DEI Lunch & Learn to focus on resources for students with disabilities

The next session of the DEI Lunch & Learn series – Thursday, April 13 from noon-1 p.m. – will feature Barbara Woodhead, interim director of UNL Services for Students with Disabilities, and Pablo Rangel, disability specialist, discussing campus resources available for students with disabilities.

While this session will be focused on resources on City Campus, faculty and staff from both City Campus and Scott Campus are welcome to attend, as many of us interact with students on both campuses. We will schedule another one for Scott Campus in the near future.

The session will be held as a hybrid event, connecting City Campus and Scott Campus, as well as via zoom. Please RSVP and note that the first 20 people to register will receive a complimentary box lunch. Even if you register late, you are still welcome to join, either in person with your own lunch, or via zoom.

Time: Thursday, April 13, Noon-1 p.m.
In-Person Location: 114D OTHM & 100A PKI

The DEI lunch series is an effort in response to the college's climate survey conducted last fall. Providing training on resources available to students with disabilities is a specific recommendation from the climate survey.
