With CAREER Award, Ghashami seeks to harness excess heat to power devices

Mohammad Ghashami has received a five-year, $630,000 grant from NSF’s Faculty Early Career Development Program to support his work to understand the physics of energy transport in the miniaturized components that power today's most prized electronics.

Four engineering students offered NSF Graduate Research Fellowships

Four graduating Nebraska Engineering seniors – Sarah Altman, Andrea Goertzen, Kasey Moomau and Stephanie Perez – are among the five University of Nebraska–Lincoln students who have been offered 2023 Graduate Research Fellowships from the National Science Foundation.
