Learn more about global education opportunities at college’s IEW events this week

This week is International Education Week (IEW) – a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that showcases programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States. IEW also highlights international diversity and promotes the opportunity to experience new cultures.

This week, the College of Engineering will be hosting three events dedicated to global education, highlighting study opportunities in Japan, Germany and France:

Friday, Nov. 15: COE International Research Information Event, 11 a.m.-noon, Scott Engineering Center C271.

Join us to get the scoop on three amazing research abroad opportunities: IRES at Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan), Hannover Science and Engineering Projects, Leibniz University (Germany) and University of Rouen-Normandy research program (France).

Thursday, Nov. 16: Cookie Hour, 1-2 p.m., Nebraska Hall W204.

COE International Students and Scholars on City Campus are invited to stop by for cookies and to learn more about international education opportunities.

Friday, Nov. 17: Cookie Hour, 11 a.m.-noon, Peter Kiewit Institute Atrium.

On Scott Campus, COE international Students and scholars are invited to stop by for cookies and learn about international education opportunities.
