E-Week 2024 runs through Saturday, Feb. 24.

E-Week 2024 features the theme “Light the Way,” focusing on how engineering leadership and growth impacts society at global, regional and local levels. All E-Week events are planned by student leaders from the college’s Engineering Student Advisory Board on City Campus and the Nebraska Engineering Student Council at Omaha on Scott Campus.

Kiewit Hall, which opened this past January for spring semester classes, is the featured site of many City Campus E-Week activities, including Grocery Bingo on Monday, 2/19; a flower bouquet making class on Wednesday, 2/21; Doughnuts with COE Leadership on Thursday morning, 2/22; and the annual carnival on Friday, 2/23.

Events on both City Campus in Lincoln and Scott Campus in Omaha offer “Lunch and Learn” professional development programs from Nebraska Engineering corporate partners like Nucor, Vishay and the Society of American Military Engineers. Networking opportunities scheduled as “Industry Mixers” and “An Engineer’s Night Out” also incorporate sponsors such as E&A Consulting Group, HDR Inc., Lozier Corporation, NPPD, Olsson and Union Pacific.

Scott Campus activities include creating concrete Nebraska "N's" on 2/20 and lava lamps on 2/21, a corn hole competition sponsored by EWB on 2/22, and the annual E-Week Finale and Prize Wrap-up on 2/23.
