Inclusive Excellence Lunch & Learn is today

Dear Colleagues,

Our next Spring 2024 Inclusive Excellence Lunch session will be held Monday, April 15, from noon to 1 p.m. This time, we are thrilled to invite professionals from UNL Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) to share about various services CAPS provides to students. This will be a very informational meeting for both Faculty and Staff, so that we know how to use CAPS to help our students.

The session will be conducted as a hybrid event, connecting City Campus and Scott Campus, as well as being accessible via Zoom. Please take note that we have new locations: City Campus (SEC 271) and Scott Campus (PKI 207).

Kindly RSVP at your earliest convenience or before Monday, April 8 at 5 p.m. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for approximately 25 participants. If you missed the RSVP deadline, you are still welcome to join us with your own lunch or through Zoom: https://go.unl.edu/deilunch

Time: Monday April 15, noon-1 p.m.
In-Person Location: SEC 271 & 207A PKI

The COE Inclusive Excellence Lunch & Learn offers lunchtime sessions where faculty and staff come together to learn about inclusive excellence. This effort is in response to one of the outcomes of the climate survey conducted in Fall 2021: to improve the general knowledge and culture of DEI in the COE community. Since Fall 2022, the series covered topics such as bias, allyship, identity, privilege, covering, DEI at UNL, UNL/UNO student accessibility services, faculty and staff disability support, an Ouch training and LGBTQA+ 101! More than 250 faculty and staff participated in the past sessions. If you can’t make this Inclusive Excellence Lunch & Learn, future session dates can be found in this link.

Associate Dean for Faculty and Inclusion
