The Engineering Research Visioning Alliance (ERVA), an NSF Engineering initiative, is seeking your ideas so it can leverage expertise from the U.S. engineering community to identify strategies to address societal challenges and advance R&D.
When you share an idea with ERVA about fundamental, pre-competitive research to solve a societal need, it could become eligible for a fully-funded ERVA visioning event—in which you could play a leading role.
ERVA visioning events gather engineers and other subject matter experts to formulate long-reaching strategic focus areas for our nation to address society’s biggest challenges. These cross-sector, multi-disciplinary events produce strategy reports with research needs that can lead to action on a national scale, impacting the topic area for years or decades to come.
