Former UNL associate vice chancellor will keynote Nov. 13 Nebraska Research Days luncheon

Nebraska Research Days will celebrate the impact of women in science with a Nov. 13 luncheon. The luncheon is open to all UNL faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and staff. Register for the luncheon at the link below.

Kimberly Andrews Espy, president of Wayne State University, will be the keynote speaker at the Association of Women in Science luncheon, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Prairie Suite at the Nebraska East Union.

Espy was formerly UNL associate vice chancellor for research and also has served in research leadership roles at the University of Texas at San Antonio, the University of Arizona, and the University of Oregon. Espy is a renowned pediatric psychology researcher and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

This event is hosted by the UNL Office of Research and Innovation, the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR), and the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor in partnership with UNL’s chapter of the Association of Women in Science.
