Registration open for Joint Teaching Excellence Series Fall 2025

The Center for Transformative Teaching (CTT), the CoB Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) and the CoE Engineering and Computing Education Core (ECEC) are excited to present a series of workshops for faculty, staff, and others who wish to better facilitate student learning both in and out of the classroom.

Though the sessions are aimed at those who teach in the Colleges of Engineering and Business, a great deal of the workshop content will be helpful for all the Schools and Colleges.

The workshops will focus on three key areas that present significant challenges in all disciplines over the next few years: Accessibility, Artificial Intelligence, and High Enrollment Courses.

The first two workshops will be conducted in-person in Kiewit Hall 203 with a distance option available in PKI (Scott Campus).

The schedule for the workshops is:

  • Sept. 4: Digital Accessibility Essentials for Educators, 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Kiewit Hall 203 (in-person) and PKI 250 (distance)
  • Sept. 30: Strategies for Engaging Students in Large-Enrollment Classes, 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Kiewit Hall 203 (in-person) and PKI 350 (distance)
  • Oct. 15: Jose Bowen – Teaching with AI, 1-4 p.m., HLH 212 (in-person only)
