Tom Lauerman credits UNL with providing the academic background he needed to build a successful software company. Now, he and his wife, are making a $500,000 gift to bring engineering students' projects to life in the Lauerman Digital Fabrication Lab.
Six faculty in the College of Engineering have been awarded named professorships for the 2025-26 academic year, bringing to 35 the total of endowed professorships within the college and seven university professorships.
