The Nebraska Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (NITE) is hosting a student meet and greet on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Kiewit Hall second floor West Commons. Come to network with professionals from the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT), the Iowa Department of Transportation, JEO Consulting Group, Schemmer, and Benesch.
The meet and greet will be followed by a NITE General Meeting from noon-1 p.m. in Kiewit Hall A235, where Hallie Salem and Collin Christopher from the City of Lincoln will speak about Project O Street – a major reinvestment in Lincoln's downtown main street and will replace aging infrastructure and enhance public spaces.
Students can RSVP at nebraska@itedsc.org by noon on Tuesday, Oct.r 21 to be included in lunch served during the presentation.
