The Nebraska Alumni Association is proud to honor promising students with two yearly awards and scholarships. Help us recognize students who demonstrate courage, leadership and pride for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln!
- Shane Osborn Award/Scholarship: For students who demonstrate courage and integrity in their daily life. The award is named for Lt. Shane J. Osborn (’96), a UNL Naval ROTC graduate who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross by the U.S. Navy.
- Howard and Judy Vann Student Leadership Award/Scholarship: Eligible students must have junior standing or higher and show leadership capabilities through student activities, classroom excellence and personal integrity.
Award and scholarship recipients will be chosen by a selection committee, and winning students will be awarded these honors during the spring semester.
