The Research Development Fellows Program (RDFP) is an Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) initiative designed to provide full-time, pre-tenure faculty with the information, resources and approaches necessary to prepare competitive grant proposals.
Applications are welcome from full-time, pre-tenure faculty who are in the early stages of developing a research program. Visiting, adjunct and research-track faculty and professors of practice are not eligible to apply. Program participation is limited to 20 fellows per year. Fellows who participate in the RDFP may not re-apply in subsequent years.
For more information, contact Tisha Mullen, director of proposal development, at 402-472-2894.

I invite you to participate in a series of informal, brown bag discussions on research: bring your own lunch if you so desire.
The next Brown Bag luncheon is scheduled for noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6 in PKI 100A.
My goal as ADR is to grow the research portfolio in the college. I think that is best done by helping individual faculty to develop their programs, by building and supporting teams, and by fostering strategic partnerships.
Below is a list of the upcoming dates and locations. All brown bag discussions will start at noon and should wrap up around 1 p.m.
11/6: PKI 100A
11/15: 219 Chase
11/20: Othmer 114D
11/27: Othmer 114D
12/6: Othmer 114D
12/11: PKI 100A
12/13: 219 Chase
These meetings are entirely voluntary and I hope you see value in getting to know your colleagues better and sharing thoughts on COE research.
