Michael Sealy has received a $500,000 National Science Foundation Early Career award to support his research into using 3D metal printers to create strong, dissolvable medical implants that could eliminate the need for multiple surgeries and, thereby, cut the costs of these procedures.

Dvorak, Nelson, and Stelling earn TBP Teaching Award

Bruce Dvorak, Carl Nelson, and Karen Stelling are co-receipients of the 2019 Tau Beta Pi Distinguished Teaching Award.Nebraska Engineering faculty Bruce Dvorak, Carl Nelson and Karen Stelling have each been chosen as recipients of the 2019 Tau Beta Pi Distinguished Teaching Award. Each will receive a $500 prize and each will be honored at the April 25 COE Awards Luncheon. Congratulations, Bruce, Carl and Karen!
