2019 Ethics and Broader Considerations of Technology Conference
Oct. 31-Nov. 2
Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Arts/University Studies

The conference is open to all students, faculty, staff, and public. It will feature lectures, a tech expo, an art showcase, and a game jam.

Lectures:
Friday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Attend lectures from 8 expert speakers discussing various topics including predictive policing, autonomous vehicles, software as a profession, online dating, and social media.

Tech Expo:
Thursday: 3-6 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
Stop in, hang out, and engage with emerging technologies (virtual reality, AI, robots, and more).

Art Showcase:
"Perceptions of Technology"
Friday: 5–9 p.m.

Game Jam:
Develop or play a game about tech and society.
