The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is pleased to welcome another academic advisor to its staff team!
Jarrett Ramsey started with the department on Dec. 2. He previously worked in the university’s Office of Admissions for three and a half years, serving the transfer student population. Prior to that role, he taught high school fine arts for five years after receiving his bachelor’s degree in computer animation and media arts.
Ramsey splits most of his free time between earning his master’s degree in educational administration and his family, which includes his one-year-old son.
Ramsey said his fellow CSE staff members have been very welcoming during his first two weeks.
“Everyone is very friendly and nice and has been willing to help out with any questions I have,” Ramsey said.
