Public Policy Center seeking part-time IT student worker

The University of Nebraska's Public Policy Center and Center on Children, Families, and the Law is seeking applications for a Student Worker position to begin immediately.

The student employee must be interested in information technology and have familiarity with computers, peripherals, and audio-visual equipment.

Duties include keeping track of computer inventory, securely formatting computers, troubleshooting common desktop and network connectivity problems, and assisting the department in the setup and deployment of computers. Familiarity with Windows 10 is necessary, and Mac experience is helpful but not required. Experience with troubleshooting computer problems, and experience with the various internal parts of desktop computers is a plus.

Since this is a part-time position, the student employee will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. The pay will be between $12 and $14, commensurate with experience and technical abilities.
