The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) is hiring a computing specialist.

Job Description:
Performs skilled IT duties, office administrative support services and digital communication functions in an office environment. Assignments require a wide knowledge base, good decision-making abilities, and proven problem-solving abilities. Requires very detail-oriented work, organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Provides support directly to all team members as time permits.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Mange existing data bases and IT platforms to ensure information management and integration to meet strategic objectives for all program areas
· Conduct majority of database entries and manage commercial off-the-shelf databases and information sharing systems
· Develop member centric materials for promotion and consumption (i.e. user guides, handouts, marketing materials)
· Help manage event calendar and live and virtual meeting space for information sessions, trainings and webinars
· Assist with day-to-day member services
· Assist with routine program needs
· Management of commercial-off-the-shelf database/software for management of the Guidelines and Principles program, to include updating, reporting and customer service regarding access and use
· Supports Guidelines and Principles program through data management, research, writing, website upkeep and member assistance.
· Regular reporting to all funders that require Guidelines and Principles participation from grantees.
· Supports grant writing and fundraising strategy by providing reliable program and membership data as requested.
· Regular upkeep and curation of website for content, function and design.
· Assists with invoicing, accounts receivable, payment processing, and backend management of financial data.
· Regular monthly organizational data reporting.
· Troubleshooting technical issues for staff and for members to ensure technology needs are met and systems are functional.
· Assist in management of online learning, communication and information sharing systems.
· Responsible for the production and data analysis and reporting for the Annual Salary and Benefit Survey, the Biennial Member Benefits Survey, and the Nonprofit Economic Impact Report.
· Assists in developing social media presence and marketing materials.
· Assists in decision-making for large technology acquisition and implementation of new IT systems.
· Support logistics of trainings and events
· Attend staff meetings
· Regular and predictable attendance

Required Skills and Experience:
· Effective communication skills
· Superb organizational skills, detail-oriented self-starter
· CMS/CRM knowledge (required). HTML skills a plus. Adobe suite skills a plus.
· Experience working in an office environment
· Skilled in digital communication platforms
· Skilled in database management software
· Professional and positive demeanor
· Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software
· Able to establish priorities and follow through on assigned tasks
· Excellent research and writing skills preferred.
· Experience with data analysis and visualization preferred.
· Experience creating online surveys and managing survey software preferred.
· 2 years’ experience in this or a related field

This is a full-time non-exempt position. Salary is $32,000 - $36,000 with an average of 40 hours a week. NAM offers excellent benefits and a great work environment.
