Folding@Home is a volunteer project that allows anyone to donate part of their computer's processing power towards simulating protein dynamics. These simulations can help in the research of many diseases, from Parkinson's to COVID-19. You do not have to be folding constantly, and can set it to only run when your computer is in idle.
