In this seminar, Facilitating Civil Discourse in Learning Spaces, Dr. Kara Viesca will help participants model and promote respectful dialogue, identify effective strategies for teaching civil discourse in learning spaces, and implement and apply the ARE method of facilitating respectful discourse. This seminar will cover an important topic for all of our graduate students, but could be particularly applicable to our GTAs and students who aim to be future faculty.
