The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is hiring a research programmer to continue work on the Senior Design HCC RNA Nanostructures Science Gateway project.

Help build a new 3D interface for designing RNA nanostructures and refactor existing code base in C++!

Project leaders are looking to hire a few motivated part-time programmers to be part of the team. This free-to-use interface will allow users to manipulate and design new RNA 3D structures.

Qualified candidates will be students or recent grads at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an interest in a software development and/or testing career.

Responsibilities:
• Write and document code in C++
• Write software tests and address defects observed.

Requirements:
• Ability to write clear, readable, and maintainable code in C++.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming paradigm.
