Infovisa is growing and seeking a talented .NET Web Software Engineer to join the team in its Lincoln, Nebraska office.

What You'll Do
• Software Development - The majority of most days are spent developing new or enhanced software functionality, writing unit tests, fixing bugs, and collaborating with other developers to ensure high quality software releases.
• Analysis & Planning - As part of our software development process, you, along with other team members, will analyze business requirements and plan software changes needed to implement the desired functionality. You will be relied upon to engineer software solutions based on the business requirements and any existing software patterns that may apply.
• Problem Solving - Infovisa has a number of complex software requirements and relies upon you and the software team members to use your ingenuity, creativity, and problem solving abilities to craft solutions.
• Business & Quality Assurance - Communication with the business team is critical to obtaining the best understanding of the desired functionality and requirements. The Business and Quality Assurance teams submit bugs as they are discovered and you will work with them to address software issues.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional or internship experience with:
o Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL.
• Optional desired experience:
o Microsoft Azure DevOps, Dependency Injection, WebAPI, Bootstrap, Powershell, and SANS or similar code security training.
• You enjoy working alongside and collaborating with a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solving complex problems is a strong point for you.
• You're interested in all tiers of software development, from the database and backend interfaces to user experience and responsive design.
COVID-19
• Due to the ongoing global pandemic, all Infovisa positions transitioned to a work-from-home environment in mid-March 2020.
• Infovisa remains in a work-from-home mode at this time.
