UNL Game Development Club members spent their spring semester building four new games. Students split into teams and created the games virtually in their spare time.
All four of the games are listed below and can be played here, on the Projects page of the game development website.
When Worlds Kaleid
Cory's world was gray and dull, until he discovered a kaleidoscope that allowed him to peer into a new world! The team was led by Josh Bellmyer, and the team won first in the semester's development competition. Chase Hermreck and Vinny Nguyen helped Josh program the game and did level design. Long Nguyen helped out with the level design. Elliot/Iris Starlin-Hintz created all the art and John Peter Delfosse composed the music and sound effects. It was created in Unity and is playable in your browser and on Windows and Mac!
The project can be played in browser and downloaded from itch.io for Windows and Mac.
Minieval
Build a tiny medieval city in Minieval! The team was led by Aaron Friesen. Kalen Wallin and Viet Ninh helped Aaron program the game and also created the UI. Evan Mielak helped program and created the sound effects. Jackson Herman created the music, and Ethan Fox helped balance the game. It was created in Godot and is playable in your browser and on Windows!

Confined
In Confined, explore the city of Sarin and delve into the mysteries as to what happened to the many citizens of this small town, all the while wondering if this town is still as dead as it may seem. The team was led by Zenith Boerger. Wally Holbeck led development and Tyler Senne assisted with development and worked on shaders and graphics. Alijah Mallula helped create the story and helped create models. David also assisted with the models. It was created in Unity and is playable on Windows!

Giant's Conquest
