Apprentice Web Programmer
Learn to maintain and build web apps and frameworks within a structured approach to user experience. Create integrations between apps within an ecosystem supporting the public information needs of a complex organization. Web programming apprentices with the UNL Digital Experience Group (DXG) use PHP — the world’s most popular server-side language for the web — along with front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript to build and maintain one of the most integrated and consistent websites in higher education.
DXG Apprentices have leveraged the experience and expertise gained while working with us to enhance their post-college career opportunities. If you’d like to make a DXG apprenticeship part of your college experience, we’ll be asking for a resume, and three samples of your best work, but feel free to send a first contact with any questions you may have.
Pay range is $12-15 per hour; offices are conveniently located at the south end of City Campus.
