Mechanical and Materials Engineering is seeking a student with Blender 3D animation skills for an immediate project.
From assistant professor Piyush Grover:
I need to animate a set of trajectories in a 3-dimensional space, ideally using Blender or the equivalent. The trajectories are generated from time-series of the coordinates (X(t), Y(t), Z(t)), i.e. a sequence of (x,y,z) coordinates corresponding to sequential snapshots in time. An existing MATLAB implementation can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJNq8mtgLtU
I need to create the 3D animated scene on the left, but with better detail/textures and viewing angles.
This is an opportunity for paid work ($20+ per hour, available immediately, urgent requirement).
