The Computer Science Department at the University of Iowa will conduct a 10-week summer research program funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The site is motivated by the considerable strain on the U.S. healthcare system due to short-term challenges, such as those posed by the COVID-19 outbreak, and long-term trends, such as an aging U.S. population. Ten participants will join their faculty mentor's research group to work on interdisciplinary projects.
