The Holland Computing Center is proud to host a Software Carpentry Workshop at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
Topics covered include:
- Automating tasks using the Unix shell
- Software Version Control (Git)
- Programming with MATLAB
This two-day workshop will feature a full day covering Bash and Git and an additional day including the basics of the R-core. Check out the schedule for a full list of all topics to be covered!
