University of Nebraska-Lincoln employees have the chance to positively impact the lives of thousands through the 2022-23 UNL Combined Campaign for Health and Human Services.
The annual United Way/Combined Health Agencies Drive of Nebraska campaign opens Oct. 24 and continues through Nov. 11. The drive benefits more than 145 local agencies that assist members of the community.
“Your gift to the Combined Campaign makes a real impact on the health, education and financial stability of your neighbors. Every dollar helps people in Lincoln and Lancaster County get support, stabilize home life and move forward to lead positive, productive lives,” Chancellor Ronnie Green said. “I strongly encourage you to give what you can to make the greatest impact on the lives of your neighbors.”
Co-chairs for the university’s Combined Campaign are Sherri Jones, dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences, and Bob Wilhelm, vice chancellor for research and economic development.
A variety of giving options, are available.
“I strongly encourage you to give what you can to make the greatest impact on the lives of our neighbors,” Green said.
To help generate enthusiasm toward the fundraising campaign, the university will award the Chancellor’s Cup based on the percentage of participation in specific campus offices. The award will be presented for two divisions — small office (less than 200 employees) and large office (more than 200 employees). The leaderboards, which will be updated regularly, are available here.
Pledge forms and additional details are available on the university’s 2022-23 Combined Campaign website. The site includes promotional assets and a list of frequently asked questions.
