The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning is offering an evidence-based STEM teaching course.
The free, online eight-week class became available Sept. 24. Participants can still join.
The course will teach how to implement evidence-based teaching strategies in the university classroom as well as effective methods for assessing teaching and learning.
This is an online class so it is ideal for anyone looking for more training on teaching that will work around their schedule.
Course topics are:

• Learning Objectives
• Assessment of Learning,
• Active Learning
• Inclusive Teaching
• Lesson Planning
