Three members of the School of Computing were honored at the College of Engineering’s 2024 Employee Awards ceremony on Thursday, May 2.
Professor Byrav Ramamurthy, Richard and Carol S. McNeel Associate Professor Justin Bradley, and outreach and communications associate Victoria Grdina were recognized for their contributions to the School of Computing and College of Engineering. Each was presented with a certificate and awarded $2,500 from the college and university.
Ramamurthy received the Holling Family Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring award, which recognizes faculty for outstanding proficiency in mentoring graduate students. This is a new award for the College of Engineering, and Ramamurthy is its inaugural recipient.
Bradley was honored with a Faculty Research and Creative Activity Award, which recognizes individuals for activities associated with investigation and experimentation aimed at the discovery and interpretation of facts, as well as the development of creative works or new products.
Grdina was recognized with a College Staff Outstanding Performance Award, which celebrates individuals for exemplary performance toward achieving the vision and mission of the college.
