
Graduate students and faculty members were recognized for achievements in research, teaching, mentorship and creative endeavors at the university's Graduate Fellowship and Awards Luncheon.
The following School of Computing faculty and graduate students were recognized:
Professor Byrav Ramamurthy received the Dean's Award for Excellence in Graduate Education. This award honors faculty members whose dedication to graduate students and commitment to excellence in graduate mentoring have made a significant contribution to graduate education at Nebraska.
Ph.D. candidate Veera Venkata Ram Murali Krishna Rao Muvva received the Folsom Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award. This award recognizes the outstanding research and creative accomplishments of the university's doctoral students.
Ph.D. candidate Yuru Zhang was named a Dean's Fellow, which is awarded to advanced master's or doctoral students.
