The CSE Department would like to congratulate to all of our spring graduates! Your hard work has paid off and now you get to enjoy your commencement. To help the day go smoothly, we have compiled all of the information you need to know.
Graduate and Undergraduate commencement will be held on May 3 at 4 p.m. and May 4 at 9:30 a.m. respectively.
Undergraduate Commencement:
The processional begins promptly at 9:20 a.m. from the Hawks Center, and participants must be in their caps and gowns and in line before that time. Late arrivals will be placed in line by the Marshals. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Before arriving at Memorial Stadium, please check http://www.unl.edu and local media outlets for possible weather-related delays or cancellation.
All financial obligations to the University must be satisfied before diplomas will be released. If you are uncertain about your financial obligation, check with the Office of Student Accounts located in 124 Canfield Administration Building.
Graduate Commencement:
The processional begins promptly at 3:50 p.m. from the Hawks Center, and students must be checked in, dressed in their caps and gowns, and placed in line before that time.
If you taught this term, be sure you have submitted all changes to early degree grades for any courses to Graduation Services at (402) 472-3636 before you report to Memorial Stadium.
Undergraduate and Graduate:
UNL Communications are encouraging graduates to use the Twitter hashtag #UNL2013. They will do their best to retweet and interact with participants.
Graduates are encouraged to wear flat shoes for their commencement ceremony as they will be traversing field turf and climbing stairs.
