We want your feedback! The CSE Student Resource Center is going to be remodeled this summer. We've created a webpage (http://cse.unl.edu/ugrad/src-renovation) and want to share our proposed plans. Please let us know what you like and what we can do to make the SRC more comfortable for you.
Some changes include:
-Removing the wall between the front reception space (Room 13) and the lab area (Room 13A) to make one large collaborative space
-Replacing double-door entrance with single door to reduce noise when people enter and leave the Student Resource Center
-12 desktop computer stations; 6 on west wall and another 6 on east wall (increase from 4 desktop computers now)
-8 lounge chairs with tablet arms for laptops (increase from 4 lounge chairs now)
-6-person MediaScape collaboration table with connections for 4 laptop computers to connect to large TV for work on group projects
-3 square tables for studying
-More power outlets for laptop charging, and many outlets will include USB ports for mobile device charging
-Interactive digital signage kiosk outside door to the Student Resource Center
