"Opportunity that Scales: Women Advancing the Future of Information Technology and Computer Science," is an IT leadership conference that will be held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Monday, November 16. This half-day conference is free and open to the public. Guest speakers will include Florence D. Hudson, senior vice president & chief innovation officer, Internet 2 and Dr. Melissa Woo, chief information officer, University of Oregon.
This conference will focus awareness on and explore issues with the recruiting and retaining of Women in IT and Computer Science. We will hear from two successful female leaders about their leadership journeys, their challenges and perspectives on why increasing diversity advances the fields of IT and computer sciences.
