
The Center for Brain, Biology, and Behavior is hiring a computer programmer/data analyst.
Employee will work with faculty investigators to implement research designs and perform data analysis in a brain imaging research environment that includes MRI, EEG/ERP and eye-tracking systems.
Responsibilities include programming for or consulting on a wide variety of research-related computational problems, including data analysis (MRI, EEG/ERP, eye tracking), presentation of audiovisual cognitive tasks for in-lab or online studies, controlling hardware, maintenance of internal and open-sourced code repositories, and data transfer, archiving, and backup. Primary languages used will be Python, MATLAB, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript, but each research project will likely involve unique libraries, languages, and/or challenges.
There may be opportunities for occasional evening and weekend work. Criminal background check will be conducted. Excellent benefits including staff/dependent scholarship program. Applicant review begins Nov. 18.
