Enroll in Full Classes for the Spring Semester

Enroll in Spring Semester Courses

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering recognizes that there are many classes that are currently full and/or closed, and will be making an effort to expand a number of classes this week.

Students who cannot get into a class should attend the first week anyway. As students drop classes, others may be able to enroll later in the week. There are always students who are uncertain of what courses they plan to take during the semester, and many choose to drop classes for various reasons within the first week or two as they adjust their schedules.

Keep watch of MyRed for potential openings beginning Jan. 3, when students who no longer qualify academically for courses will be removed from the roster.

Students do have six days of free adding and dropping—including Martin Luther King Jr. Day when there is no class and the Tuesday after—to finalize their schedules. Academic advisors would like to encourage faculty to poll their full classes and find out students’ intent in taking their courses.

Students who are unsure of how to plan their schedule or if they should add or drop a course should make an appointment with academic advisors Ann Koopmann, Chuck Riedesel, or Kasey Bannon.

Watch for future announcements in Bites & Bytes regarding courses.
