ITS will be hosting a series of "Brown Bag" seminars for faculty members to learn more about the upcoming transition to Canvas. Bring your lunch and learn about the new platform.

Four seminars will be held once a month, beginning Thursday, Jan. 26 and continuing through April 5. Each session begins at noon and end at 1 p.m.

Jan. 26—Using Outcomes
Chad Brassil, Associate Professor, School of Biological Sciences, will demo outcomes and rubrics for ACE assessment at the course level.

Feb. 15—Using Canvas Commons
Alan Eno, Assistant Professor of Practice, Journalism, will talk about using Canvas Common to disseminate a master course over multiple sections.

March 16—This session topic to be announced.

April 5—A/V Integration
Scott Anderson, Hixon-Lied Professor of Music, will speak on the integration of audio and video in the online environment.

The "Brown Bag" sessions are primarily for faculty, but ITS is offering some open info sessions for students in the Love Learning Commons and in the Unions. Information on those sessions can be found at the bottom of the main page in the calendar section at go.unl.edu/canvas. Students can also email canvas@unl.edu for assistance from the ITS team.
