LPS hiring computing services technician.
This position offers the opportunity for independent, creative work that directly impacts and supports over 41,000 students, 3,500 teachers, and countless community members throughout Lincoln, Nebraska.
This position will primarily develop programs that help to bridge various technological systems in the district so that data transition is seamless. These bridge/integration programs are vital to the success of Lincoln Public Schools and help ensure that all our students receive the support that they need to grow and develop in our community.
1-2 years of writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views is required. Exhibits sound knowledge of databases (MSSQL/DB2) and can apply this knowledge when creating tables and other relational constructs. Experience with SSIS is a plus but not required.
Salary Range: $55,000–65,000, full-time
