The College of Architecture is seeking a paid, part-time computation and design intern.
Position Description:
A part-time intern to assist in research on computer-aided design, computer graphics, and machine learning is needed to work with a professor in the College of Architecture. The position will involve programming, benchmarking algorithms, and conducting literature reviews related to the topics mentioned.
Hours per week:
8-20 hours
Pay Rate:
$12 minimum per hour, with increase commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate, or senior undergraduate, student in computer science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in machine learning (e.g. successful completion of an ML or AI course)
Familiarity with the machine learning packages for Python (Scikit Learn; Tensor Flow; Theano)
Comfortable with programming in C++ and Python
Ability to write well. Experience with scholarly writing a bonus.
