Garmin will be holding two events on campus this week: an Engineer Information Session on Wednesday, November 16th and an Engineer Meet and Greet on Thursday, November 17th. Both sessions will focus on recruiting Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering majors for full-time positions, as well as for internship opportunities.
Wednesday's Information Session will be held in the format of a panel discussion with Software and Mechanical Engineers. It begins at 5:30 p.m. in Nebraska Hall, Room W128. Appetizers will be served and students can enter a drawing for a chance to win a Garmin product.
Thursday's Meet and Greet will provide students with the opportunity to speak one on one with a Garmin Software or Mechanical Engineer. Candidates should bring a current resume and be prepared to speak with Garmin representatives. These appointments will take place in the Career Services office on the 2nd floor in the Nebraska Union from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m..
