The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Robotics Club plans to have a general info session for prospective members and would like to invite new students to join. The group will be having its meeting this Thursday, Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Chase Hall Room 149 on East Campus.

The UNL Robotics Club is a student organization that was established last semester by the robotics team that has been representing UNL in the ASABE International Robotic Competition for the past two years. Having placed second in the 2017 competition, UNL Robotics Club is looking to expand and recruit motivated students who would like to get involved in robot-building and algorithm design as well as participating in 2018 ASABE competition.

The group intends to meet weekly as a team to work on the design of this year's robot. The meetings will consist of hands-on technical sessions, modeling and prototyping, building and assembling robots, developing algorithms, social hangouts as well as outreach events and many more activities.
