Unknown-1.jpeg

The School of Music will offer a course in iPad App Development. The course will involve creating both artistic and software products. Students will be required to program in Objective C, develop a program in the iPad environment, and publish their program accordingly. The course will also provide practice in various programming concepts ranging from object-oriented programming to event-driven programming, from MVC to better GUI designs, and from working with I/O in multimedia mediums to creating multimedia content.

The course will meet the requirement of a computing related elective for computer science majors, which has been proposed for the 2012-2013 bulletin. The course, MUSC 398: Special Topics in Music, will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3: 20 p.m.

If you are interested in the course, please contact Professor Brian Moore immediately to obtain a permission code for enrollment. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Professor Leen-Kiat Soh at lksoh@cse.unl.edu or Dr. Moore at bmoore1@unl.edu.
