Q2 is seeking energetic, innovative, “out of the box” thinkers with a passion for software and technology to join its 2018 summer intern program.
As a Software Development Intern, you will get experience with the full life-cycle of software development and will move between our test engineering group and our development group to participate in both coding and automated testing. The Summer Internship Program is 10 weeks long and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with senior leadership, off-site activities with other Q2 interns, and the opportunity to present to the executive leadership team at the end of the program.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
· Currently pursuing a Software Development or Computer Science centric degree at an accredited institution with an expected graduation date of 2018 through 2020
· Ability to complete a 10-week program beginning June 2018
· Basic familiarity with coding concepts

Q2 is seeking an ambitious and adaptable ASP.NET Developer experienced in the ins and outs of development in a team setting.
As part of our Engineering Development group, you will be working individually and collaboratively to develop, implement, and support custom solutions.
Our ideal candidate is someone with a self-motivated, tinkering spirit and who is comfortable diving into professional development life while rapidly learning to engineer solutions using a mix of open technologies and our own proprietary framework.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity comprised of Windows- and Linux-based front-end and back-end components that interact with end users and integrate with internal and external services
· Work individually and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems
· Support, maintain, and resolve problems for custom features in live production systems, with occasional on-call availability
· Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
· Assist and mentor teammates to provide technical leadership and evangelize best practices
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
· 4+ years of software development experience
· 3+ years’ experience in ASP.NET
· Experience in C# and/or VB.NET
· SQL experience
· Javascript experience
· Passion for applying good design principals while exercising pragmatism to keep deadlines
· Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle
· Experience engineering software in a service-oriented architecture
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
