Assurity is looking for a software development intern to help us write modern applications and services. Internships typically revolve around academic terms (i.e. quarters, semesters), during which an intern becomes an active member of a software development project.

Real Projects

Our interns benefit by actively participating in the process of developing real software that is functional, reliable, and secure. An intern will do real work that provides real value to our business. Each project may involve a different environment, team and set of technologies. Interns have the opportunity to work with different tools, technologies, and software development layers (e.g. services, user interface layer, application layer, database layer).

Mentorship

Each intern will typically have one mentor and one supervisor. The mentor will be an experienced software developer who will guide the intern’s experience. The mentor may explain concepts, demonstrate tools, or describe methods. The supervisor will ensure the internship is a rewarding experience for each individual. Supervisors and mentors will meet often with interns to ensure the success of the internship project.
